Ingredients
- 1 pound Stew meat
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- 1 medium Onion; chopped
- 1 Clove garlic
- 7 cups Water
- 32 ounce Tomatoes
- 1 Bay leaf
- 3/4 cup Barley
- 1/2 cup Celery
- 1/2 cup Carrots
- 4 Cubes beef bouillon
- 1/2 teaspoon Basil
- 10 ounce Green beans
Directions
- Brown beef in Dutch oven with oil, garlic and onions.
- Add remaining ingredients except beans and simmer 1 hour.
- Add beans and simmer another 20 minutes.
