Bean, Barley and Sausage Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Dry Kidney beans
  • 1 package Smoked Polish sausage; sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 3/4 quarts Water
  • 1 cup Barley; regular
  • 2 Cloves garlic; peeled
  • Parsely sprigs

Directions

  • Add water, cover and let stand overnight.
  • Drain off water the next day.
  • Put beans, barley and remaining ingredients into a crock pot.
  • Stir.
  • Cover and cook on high for 4 hours.
