Bean Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 slice Bacon
  • 2 cups Baked or boiled beans
  • 4 cups Cold water
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • Salt; pepper, paprika
  • 1 tablespoon Butter

Directions

  • Cook bacon, add to beans, add cold water and cook until beans are soft, then rub them through a strainer.
  • Place on the fire and add alittle more water if needed, the soup must not be too thick.
  • Combine with the flour and butter.
  • Cook 2 or 3 minutes.
  • Season with salt, a dash of pepper, and paprika.
  • I got this recipe from a friend and it’s quite good.
