- 1 1/4 cups Onions; chopped
- 2 Cloves garlic; minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Olive oil
- 30 ounce Kidney beans; undrained
- 28 ounce Crushed tomatoes
- 3 cups Turkey light meat, skinless; cooked and cubed
- 2 tablespoons Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cilantro
- 1 teaspoon Crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
Directions
- In a 3-quart saucepan over medium heat cook bell peppers, onions, garlic in oil until tender.
- Add beans, tomatoes, water, turkey, chili powder, cilantro, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Increase heat to high and bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat to low and simmer mixture, uncovered for 25 minutes.
