Wild Rice Soup

A great soup that is best the next day. Great to make with left over chicken

Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • onion (I use green onions about 4 to 5 stalks
  • 1 can mushrooms small can
  • 2 cans of chicken broth Swanson's 14 ounce
  • cooked chicken (left-over is great)

Directions

  1. Melt butter and saute onions
  2. add: 1/4 cup of flour-brown.
  3. add mushrooms & broth .
  4. Add rice mixture.
  5. simmer
  6. Stir in chicken and milk salt and pepper as needed
